Jen + Jenson | Maternity Shoot at El Matador Beach, California

I recently had the pleasure of doing a maternity photo shoot at El Matador Beach, California, with a couple I’ve known since 3rd grade. This was no ordinary shoot; the soon-to-be mom, dad, and their lovely daughter made it a family affair.

The day was perfect, with the beach’s cliffs, waves, and golden sands providing an extraordinary backdrop. The lighting was soft, making everything seem even more a bit moody.

The mom looked radiant in her white dress, and the love between her and her husband, friends of mine since childhood, was evident. Their daughter’s lively spirit added joy to the session.

We began with playful shots of the family on the shoreline, and later moved to more tender moments, especially between the dad and daughter.

El Matador Beach was the ideal setting, and I’m thrilled I could capture these special moments for them. These pictures will likely be treasured for years to come.
