A Little About Me

my name is Aeson...

I've been photographing weddings for seven years with a documentary approach and a strong eye for composition.

I grew up in Los Angeles watching my dad photograph our family, everyday moments that became the photos we'd look through years later. That's where I learned that photos matter most when they capture things as they actually were.

Before photography, I worked as a 3D artist. That background shapes how I see framing, light, and composition, but I don't stage or direct moments. I'm aware of how scenes come together visually, so I capture what's happening with care for how it's framed.

On your wedding day, I blend in and document what's unfolding. I'll give light guidance when it helps, moving you slightly for better light or pointing out a spot that works better visually. Mostly I'm observing and capturing real moments with a compositional eye.

I have two daughters. I understand how quickly time moves and why preserving these moments matters.

Father, artist, and nature lover. Inspired by music, good light, and the people in front of my lens.

What inspires me

Photography has been part of my life since I was a kid. My dad was always photographing everyday family moments, and those albums meant something. That's what drew me to this work: wanting to create that same thing for other people.

My editing style is clean and consistent, with some moodiness when the light calls for it. I focus on real moments as they happen, not posed setups. Every wedding is different, so I approach each one based on what's actually unfolding that day.

What makes my approach work is staying calm and out of the way. The best photos happen when you forget I'm there. I'm documenting your day as it is, not staging what I think it should be.

MY FAVOURITE THINGS

I used to breakdance. Now I mostly break my back and knees, but the love for movement stuck.

When I'm not shooting weddings, I'm outdoors with my family. I'm based in the Inland Empire, so there's always a hike or a short drive to somewhere worth going. I love to travel. If your wedding takes you somewhere interesting, I'm genuinely happy to come along.

Before photography, I worked as a 3D artist. That background shapes how I see and frame shots, but the best wedding photos come from letting things happen rather than constructing them.

Behind the Lens

Rain or shine, I’ll be there.

On your wedding day, I'm there from start to finish, quietly documenting what's happening. Getting ready with your people, groomsmen calming their nerves, the ceremony, the reception. My goal is to let the day flow naturally while making sure the important moments are captured.

I work mostly in the background, catching the small things you might not notice. A look between your parents, friends laughing during cocktails, quiet moments between the two of you. I'll give direction when needed for portraits and family photos, but otherwise I stay out of the way.

Anyone can see that Aeson takes beautiful pictures, but one of the things that makes him stand out is his personality. He was kind and funny! I felt relaxed during the whole shoot.
