Jessica + Tony | La Ventura Wedding

Jessica and Tony’s February wedding at La Ventura had about 50 guests. Close friends and family, no extras. They wanted to keep things simple and focused on the people who mattered most.

We started the day with a first look at the venue. It went smoothly. Calm and relaxed, which set the pace for everything that followed. Jessica and Tony just showed up as themselves.

That energy carried through the ceremony and into portraits. With a smaller guest count, we weren’t racing against a packed timeline. We had time to let moments happen naturally.

After the ceremony, we took a golf cart down to San Clemente Beach for portraits. The timing worked out. Golden hour light right as the sun was setting. Jessica and Tony were relaxed and laughing through the whole session.

I shot a mix of digital and film throughout the day. The beach portraits on film have that timeless quality.

Back at La Ventura, the reception was easy and unhurried. Guests mingled and caught up without the pressure of a packed timeline. It was about connection, not spectacle.
